Mission
To make the "Real World" less scary to college students and graduates. We will help prepare you for the "Real World" through articles, teleseminars, and eventually an online university. All of the knowledge we will share with you will be easy to understand and apply to your life.
History of Real World 101
Real World 101 was founded by Patricia Hudak, 22. The idea for Real World 101 came to me at the beginning of my senior year of college. It was then that I realized that not only did I not know how to pay off my student loans (which total over $160,000), I also realized that I didn't know much about life after college. I tried searching for websites and reading books about life after college, but they weren't much help. I thought to myself, "These answers shouldn't be so hard to find." So, I decided to create my own website in order to help others and myself easily find answers to the questions we have.
How is Real World 101 different?
Student Perspective. Real World 101 was founded and is maintained by a recent college graduate. Therefore, all of the content is relevant to the needs of soon to and recent college graduates, unlike other websites that tell visitors what they think recent graduates should know.
Open for Q&A. We understand that everyone's situation is different. Therefore, we provide opportunities for people to ask their own questions to our experts through our blog and teleseminars. Unlike books and other website that give static and typic advice, we aim to provide useful and dynamic information to our visitors.
Easy to Understand. Although life after college may seem very complicated, we aim to simplify almost all of it for you. We understand that all of the new responsibilities that the "Real World" puts on you may seem overwhelming, but our services will help you sort it all out.
