Informational Workshops
Presented by the founder of Real World 101, our workshop curriculum is built on what we call "The 3 Pillars of Real World Success,"which are a students's ability to handle the financial, professional, and personal demands of the real world. The content of these workshops include:

Financial Success (Workshop 1)
Strategies on how to navigate the financial world and manage their finances so that they don't have to drown in debt after college.

Professional Success (Workshop 2)
Techniques on how to find their first job no matter their major and begin to build a life-long career around their passions.

Life Success (Workshop 3)
Systems for defining success for themselves and discovering their passion and developing goal-setting skills to achieve success.

By the end of the workshops, students will have action steps that will take them down the road of passion, purpose, and prosperity.

Schools have to option to approve an outline of each workshop and customize them to best fit the needs of their students and departmental goals.

Career Services / Alumni Relations Presentations
Your students and alumni will come ready to learn about your department and how your services might help them succeed and support them in their campus life and life after college.

As a Real World 101 Tour Partner, you have the opportunity, during the half-day event, to speak directly with students and young alumni about the support you offer them.

Networking Breaks
Despite the obvious benefits of networking, most students have never been to a networking event and feel uncomfortable meeting new people. This portion of the event is designed to help students get out of their comfort zone in a fun way.

The exhibits showcase:

  • Employers interested in recruiting students and alumni
  • Local resources that could help attendees
  • Local sponsors
  • Campus departments

Breaks are an opportunity for attendees to:

  • Visit the exhibit hall
  • Network with each other
  • Enjoy refreshments

Young Alumni Panel
The Young Alumni Panel is an informal event where attendees connect with successful young alumni on a personal level. Panelists include any combination of the following:

  • Young Alumni
  • Career Services Representatives
  • Alumni Relations Representatives

Attendees are exposed to different viewpoints on how to achieve success before and after graduation.
